Chemtech Foundation, India's leading industry association and organiser of international exhibitions and conferences since 1975, presents Pharma World Expo 2009. The 24th edition of the series will have on display the complete range of products, state-of-the-art technologies, equipment, accessories and services related to the pharmaceutical industry. National and international players will make the event a memorable one with their participation. The fair has been scheduled for February 12-16, 2009 at the plush Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE Complex, Goregaon (E), Mumbai, India.
India has around 800 companies in the traditional biotech sector and over two dozen companies are operating in the third generation modern biotechnology. The event will also showcase biotechnology products and services, hence the name Pharma + Biotech World Expo 2009.

The last edition of Pharma World Expo 2007 witnessed participation from 21 countries across the world. 500 delegates, 20 overseas speakers and 65 national speakers took part in the conferences. With 1100 exhibitors including 394 overseas exhibitors and more than 40,000 visitors, the fair proved to be a big success.
