India has been on the topmost platform in the arena of stone crafts. India Stonemart 2009 will be the gathering place of potential buyers and sellers from across the world, engaged in stones and stone products. The 5th edition of the fair is being organized with an aim to bring together the players for sharing of trends, products, technology and crafts. The dates have been set for January 8th to 11th and the scheduled venue is Export Promotion Industrial Park, Jaipur - the Pink City and the hub of stones in India.


Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the largest and oldest apex business organization of the Indian business, in association with Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) is organizing the fair.

Glimpse About the Past Edition:
India Stonemart 2007 had 355 exhibitors including 58 overseas participants from China, Egypt, France, Italy, Germany, Oman, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Vietnam, Greece, to name a few. There were approximately 30,000 footfalls including 15,000 business visitors. The total business generated was estimated at approximately 650 crore.

The extravaganza of stone and stone related products will be experienced at its best at India Stonemart 2009. The participants will comprise of stone quarry owners, stone processors, stone craft units, manufacturers & suppliers of stone-related machineries, tools & equipment, architects, builders & civil engineers,transporters, exporters, importers, testing & standardisation organisations, consultancy organisations, traders, marketers, chambers of commerce, associations amongst others.
